I am facing as issue to configure Fault Tolerance (FT) in VCSA 6. I am getting this error "Configuring primary VM for fault tolerance:updating VM configuration fault tolerance"
I done all the steps to enable the FT: I am enabling FT on Management NIC because I have only 1 NIC.
1: HA is enable at Cluster Level
2: Enable VMOTION on VMKernal Adapter
2: Enable FT Logging on VMKernal Adapter
I didn't find any proper solution for this issue.

Is that internal CA that generated that certificate been added to the Trusted Publishers on the VCSA?
Does it work when you do the same action via the Web Client?

Yes - that is possible. You create a dd-image of the full disk and then use that image as a flat.vmdk. Only thing to do next is to create a descriptorfile manually.
But the VM will not boot - without root access you will not be able to adjust the driver-configuration.
VMware-Converter is no help for this task - nor am I aware of any other P2V tool that can handle SCO-operating systems.

So I installed another Connection Server as a Replica and I was able to connect to my Desktop and Apps from both internally and externally.
However, now I cannot open any desktops or apps using any browser from outsides that is externally. It works fine through the Horizon client.
Internally - everything works, using client and browser (tested only through IE)
Externally - Client works fine, when using browser able to login but cannot start up any applications.
Any ideas?

To me it sounds like it's probably just a reference to the same VM.
If you moved the VM and then double-clicked it to run it from it's new location, it would create a new VM Library entry.
If you right-click > Show in Finder fromthe Library window, the greyed out one will likely not allow that to be clicked because it can't find the file (which is why it's greyed out in the first place).
You can safely delete it from the VM Library window.
The idea of a 'merge' is not possible, you just have to delete the erroneous entry, after first making sure it's actually erroneous.

I've been using USB devices on Workstation for a while and everything worked fine until recently.
I recently updated to the latest, 12.5.4 and now the USB devices don't show up in the menu anymore for any of my virtual machines. I tried to reboot the host and guest systems, check and change settings (USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 and vice-versa, check/uncheck the different checkboxes in the USB setting for each VM) as well as plugging the cards/flash drives (that used to work) on the different ports on the system (some are USB3.0, some are USB 2.0). I cannot seem to have the USB devices display in the VM->Removable devices anymore.
Before anybody point out the obvious, I checked, yes they are recognized by my host, Windows, and I can see them plugged in the system tray. Yes, the virtual machines have USB in them and the kernel is recent enough to use USB (Kali 2016.2, Ubuntu 16.04, 16.10, 17.04 alpha/beta, CentOS 7, etc). This issue is present on all my VM (that used to work just fine).
Last I remember using USB device is for sure 12.5.2. I may have used it in 12.5.3 but I'm not 100% certain.
Is there something I missed or is it a bug in the release?

I shared a virtual disk between two machines Windows server 2012 R2 with the option of "multi-writer", but I have the problem when I save a file from a virtual machine in the disk it does not appear imediately in the other machine. I need restart the machine for I can to see the file. These machines must be operational the 24 hours, so I can not restart. What I can do to see the file that I save from one machine in the other immediately?
In VM 1, when a file (test1.txt) is added, VM 2 is not seeing this file (test1.txt). This is the same when another file (test2.txt) is added in VM2. VM1 is not able to view this file (test2.txt).

}I just deployed a fresh vCenter (6.0.0.20100) 6.0u2a and this server is also showing 500 error.
Added the charset.jsp to /usr/lib/vmware-eam/web/eam/ and also 500 error.
But a upgrade ran without any problems.

Was this a clean VM or converted from a machine? If the latter, try the former.
Is VT enabled in BIOS ?
