Hi everyone, I am using VMWare vCentre Convertor Standalone v5 and trying to go P2V on a SBS 2008 Server. It allows me to make the clone, and the Virtual Server work perfect. The problem is I have to do each clone MANUALLY or copy the clone job each time.
The option to scedule is greyed out and says "You cannot synchronize the source with the destination if you have chosen to resize FAT volumes, shrink NTFS volumes, or change cluster size".
The settings I have are :
Size/ Cap. : Maintain Size
Type/ Cluster Size : Keep Source Cluster Size
I have tried every combination but cannot get it to "ungray" the sheduler.
if anyone has any ideas I am willing to try it. I have asked for support to VMWare direct and they said my only option is to come here as I only get 30 days support on the software (which I ONLY just found out! :-( )
